Position: In-House Attorney/Lawyer
Location: Miami, FL
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and support across various departments and subsidiaries.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with regulations and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with external counsel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice law in Florida
- Minimum of two to four years’ experience in the legal profession, ideally between both a law firm, a corporate legal environment or family offices.
- Fluent in Spanish
- Experience with the following areas of law: commercial law, employment & labor relations, logistics contracts, finance law
- Experience supporting legal matters and working with outside counsel in Mexico
- Experience with cost-effective management of outside legal resources.
- Experience representing a corporate entity to a variety of governmental authorities (federal, state, local).
- Compliance comprehension
